ORIGIN: likely the same as all Swallow pigeons. Since way back in Thuringer, but also raised in Southern Germany.
GENERAL APPEARANCE: Similar to the clean legged field pigeon, only more elegant and having a longer body. A good flyer and lively nature.

HEAD: Slightly curved, smooth or with crest in the form of a shell directed forward which should be wide and full and end in two crowns (rosettes).
EYE: Dark (bull) the border (cere) small, smooth, and delicate-light flesh colored to red.
BEAK: Long narrow the upper beak slightly rounded at tip.
BEAK COLOR: Upper beak - Flesh color on red and
yellow.
Upper beak - Dark on blacks, blues and blue check.
Upper beak - Horn color on silver and Lark color.
Lower beak - Flesh color in all patterns and colors.
NECK: Medium long.
THROAT: Somewhat rounded.
CHEST (BREAST): Broad and slightly protruding.
BACK: Long, slightly broad and tapering downward.
WINGS: Long well closed resting on the tail.
TAIL: long and narrow.
LEGS: Short, smooth. Nails possible same color as upper beak.
FEATHERS: Well developed and tight fitting.
COLORS: Yellow, Red and Black. Blue and Silver, barred and barless, also other variations including check.
COLOR AND MARKINGS: The base color is white, colored in only the head plate (cap) and the wings. The area on the back between the wings should form a white well rounded heart, broad in appearance. On Black, Red and Yellow it is essential to have a good gloss color to the colored areas and have colored underwings. On Blues and Silvers the flight feathers should be dark.
